I've had quite a few Christmas-themed mini sessions this holiday season, and I wanted to tell you about them. The first one was with little Gavin, and he was the most well-behaved nine-month-old I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. He just giggled and cooed the whole time! His mom and grandma were excellent about entertaining him as well - something for which I am very grateful! Here's my favorite shot of him:
Next was the Estell family. They're friends from church for whom I babysat once a while back and keep in touch with frequently through Facebook. Their two children, Patrick and Rebecca, are very sweet kids and I really enjoyed taking their picture (as well as their parents' of course!). They gave each other kisses on the cheek for me without me even asking! Here's one of them:
The most recent session was with the Mast family. They also go to my church and I took pictures of their son, Jorian, when he was just a baby. He's adorable, and their older kids, Jacob and Anna, are very polite. Plus, they had a friendly old cat who didn't mind being petted! I love both photographing families and petting cats, so going over to their house was a great experience. Since it was wet and cloudy that day, I took some photos both indoors and outdoors. Carrie had the great idea of having everyone read books by the Christmas tree! It was very sweet.
That's all from me for now. I have a paper to write and two projects to finish, and finals are next week so I'd better get studying!
