Time for another blog update! I am way behind...
Melanie Fox and Justin King are friends of my parents as well as myself, so I was honored when they chose me to photograph their wedding! It took place on a warm and cloudy day in late April. I know a lot of photographers like it when it's cloudy for a wedding, but I've discovered that I shoot best in the sunlight. Regardless, I think I got some pretty solid images. Here are a few of Melanie:
That's Rupert she's holding there. He used to be in a shelter, but now he is happy and very loved by Mel and Justin! He took part in their engagement shoot as well as their wedding.
Here's Melanie's bouquet. It was made out of paper - so unique! - and the best part is it'll probably last for the rest of their lives.
You've seen some of the beaming bride - now for the grinning groom! Here's Justin when he first saw Mel in her dress:
and here's a candid of him adjusting his jacket so he would look extra snazzy for the posed shots (coming up afterwards):
Justin and Melanie are a really fun couple (in case you couldn't tell by the presence of Rupert). Both Doctor Who and superheroes were mentioned in their wedding vows, and Justin had lego cufflinks! Plus, there was a copy of a Harry Potter book on the welcome table with some of the pages cut out and made into decorations! Prepare yourselves for some detail shots:
The chapter title they left showing was such a nice tie-in to the event of the day.
I'll leave you with a few more images of the Fox-King wedding, the first one of Justin with his sister:

I'm going to go and edit some more!
