This is my new business blog - you can view my old one here.
I've been incredibly busy lately, and not just with sessions. As many of you know, I'm also a full-time student at Bluffton University, and it's not easy to keep up with all my schoolwork. My major is Graphic Design (Bluffton doesn't offer a Photography major) so I don't have a ton of papers to write, but that doesn't mean I don't have anything to do! Right now my Drawing professor has assigned a simulated texture sketch and I have research to do for a Digital Imaging project before our next session. Not to mention my other classes! Life as a college student is crazy, but I love it.
Amidst all the chaos, though, I've managed to carve out time for one session with a model and one with a family friend.
Darcy Rose is a model I met through networking on ModelMayhem.com, and she was fabulous. Darcy is new to the modeling business but she did such a good job that I couldn't tell - the mark of someone with true talent! You can see her images here.
Nataliia is a family friend who my parents met when my dad taught in the Ukraine this spring. She decided to fly out and audit some classes at Bluffton this semester, and she wanted pictures of her around town to show to her family and friends back home. Hence, these. This was such an informal session that I let her have complete control over both the locations and the poses! (Usually I work as a team with the person I'm shooting to get the best possible combination of the two for every shot.) You can see her images here or below.
That's all from me for now - be sure to check back to keep updated with business news!
